Hoodia Safety - Is Hoodia Safe?

The anecdotal evidence suggests yes, with no reported ill effects since Hoodia as a herbal supplement has become available. Further the clinical trials to date have shown no adverse effects.

The main challenge with such a new' product as Hoodia, especially as the 'real thing; is in short supply, is guaranteeing a genuine product. This will be covered in the next article 'Hoodia Tests'.

Having said that, some people have noticed occasional mild headaches. The generally accepted view is that this is due to not following guidance of drinking plenty of water while using Hoodia.

You'll also notice, as in common with most herbal products, other contra-indications. Commonly these are: people with high blood pressure, nursing mothers, pregnant women, and people with liver or kidney disease.

The simple answer is that if you are aware that you have a specific condition, consult with your doctor who ill be able to advise you.
